When were you started?
Seiun Virtual Idols was founded in March 2016 by Ben Laudicano, Graphic Design & Digital Media student at Johnson & Wales University.
What made you start Seiun?
I’ve been working with UTAU Voicebanks, hologram technology, and virtual idols for about five years and wanted to create something to expand this awesome new technology into the mainstream.
Who can use Seiun?
Our text-to-speech voicebanks can be used by Artists and Musicians alike to sing anything pitch-perfect the first time. Make them your lead vocalist, have them harmonize with the rest of the band, or even turn their voice into a futuristic synth instrument.
What are the next steps?
Seiun Virtual Idols is currently working with local artists, producers, and musicians to create more content featuring our mascot character Viki Hopper. We also plan on expanding into live hologram events, to have Viki perform live on stage with real musicians.
